IELTS Writing Task 2 Sample Question with answers

Band 6

Some feel that music is a powerful tool for bringing people from different culture and generations together. In this article, I have agreed with this point because first, everyone enjoys music. By music, certain musicians may spread social messages to a broad audience without regard to age or cultural background.

First of all, music is the one thing that join others from many cultures and customs, while their differences. The finest songs are marked by their unique rhythms, melodies, and amazing vocal shows, which grab listeners of all ages. Everybody, no matter what age or culture, loves the tune of music. In addition, an important part of entertainment is actually music, a millions of people have lately watched music-related TV series.

Second, many cultures has a strong musical tradition. There are many different kinds of music from different culture and many travelers enjoy learning about other culture through music. Through music, individuals from different cultures may connect with one another. Likewise, pop and hip-hop are liked by young ones while old people love to here traditional songs.

I'll sum up by saying that I think music is the greatest medium for that links generations and gaps in culture. As a worldwide art form, music defies generational and cultural boundaries in its appeal. Because the melody and arrangement allow the song to be heard all over the world, musicians use music as a tool for social causes and unite people.

Band 7

One of the most important forms of art is music, which has developed at the same rate as humankind. There are many who argue that music bridges cultural barriers and unites various generations. I also agree that music is a useful instrument for bringing people from various cultures together.

First and foremost, one of the reason music may aid in removing boundaries between cultures and nations is the universal love for it. We can all appreciate the intricacy and harmony of music, regardless of the language we speak or understand. Music speaks to people in all languages and cultures because it is a global language. People of many backgrounds can enjoy music for its creative and emotional qualities.

In addition, music offers a common ground for individuals of all ages to better understand one another. It is not unexpected that younger generation now like the nostalgic feel of an old song, while older generation are becoming more and more drawn to contemporary music genres like techno, hip-hop, and rap. For instance, it is not unusual to witness a multigenerational family in one room, enthusiastically singing and dancing to the same song.

Moreover, listening to music may be an artistic approach to learning about a variety of subjects, including history and current affairs. This should be valued for the priceless significance it holds for humanity as well as the joy it gives to us.

In conclusion, I sincerely feel that music offers a common ground for people of all generations to draw them closer together, despite some people's claim that it only help people become more unified by educating them about other culture. In actuality, music not only helps people understand one another's unique civilizations, but it also builds closeness within a society regardless of generational differences.

In this piece, I will assert that music has the power to knit people together and foster mutual understanding. I'll also explain why music is so adept at fulfilling these aspirations.

People appreciate music from around the world as it speaks a universal dialect that expresses human emotion which is joy, love, and sorrow. Music likewise tears apart borders between different cultures and countries. While music speaks to our emotions and thoughts, it doesn't require explanation to be recognized and comprehended. Folks of all ages may sit together and rejoice in the same melody because we all treasure its musicality and depth regardless of the language we speak or know about.

Beyond only sound, music becomes a vital medium for blending cultures and fostering peace of mind. This is best shown by world music festivals, which draw a diverse range of people eager to discover the rich musical diversity across the world. These events are deeply engaging where visitors immerse themselves in the rich tapestry of tales, customs, and values unique to each musical style in addition to enjoying songs. By absorbing music from across the world, listeners go on an immersive learning trip that enriches their understanding of cultural diversity. Consequently, this serves as a driving force behind the purging of regressive hurdles and establishes the basis for a more conceding and empathic world society.
