Introduction: 

I am someone who loves to try out various types of dresses as per the requirements of the occasion. I call myself a fashion freak since I am obsessed with dressing and trying out outfits whenever possible. But, being a Bengali, there is one piece of clothing that takes my breath away, a saree. One such occasion which I vividly recall is my cousin's wedding where I wore a turquoise blue saree. It was a beautiful and unique piece and I got a lot of compliments from everybody. 

Why is it your favorite?

Family functions always allow you to dress well and look beautiful and dreamy.  So after doing some research on how I should keep my look, I decided to explore some local markets with my mother so that I could buy a good piece of saree at an affordable price. Finally, I ended up finding the beautiful saree in an ethnic boutique and it was love at first sight. The main reason I liked the saree was because it had an intricate embroidery all over it which gives it a touch of elegance. Also, the blue-turquoise color mesmerized me.

This particular piece of clothing holds a special place in my heart because I gifted it to myself with my first salary. I feel a sense of pride when I wear it. I went on to repeat this saree at the annual function of my college. My friends were surprised to see me in traditional attire and everybody complimented me. They said I look beautiful and different at the same time. Thus this saree holds a special place in my heart and is my favorite piece to wear on an occasion.

Introduction: When did you wear your favorite piece of clothing? 

There are many occasions to wear your favorite clothes. One such occasion was my Convocation day. I was excited to see my classmates and professors after a long time. It felt like a small reunion. It was an excellent opportunity for me to wear my favorite clothes at this special event with my friends and family. So for this occasion, I decided to dress up formally. I wore a black round-necked top with sky-blue colored high-waist formal pants. 

Why did you choose this dress?

The Convocation was going to be held a full day which is why I went for comfortable clothing. The formal pants material was very soft and the fabric was smooth and light. This piece of clothing attracted me the most because of its comfort and it made me feel elegant and confident while wearing it.

Conclusion:

In conclusion, wearing my favorite piece of clothing on my graduation day was the correct choice. I had a wonderful experience wearing it on my special day with my friends and family. My classmates and I along with our professors clicked our last group photo as graduates. I also clicked photos with my favorite professors whom I would remain irreplaceable to me because of their tremendous help during my college years. I received my certificate and felt proud and motivated. Convocation Day was a memorable day for all of us. I will carry the memorable moments spent with my friends and teachers in my heart for a very long time.

I live in Gujrat and here clothing styles differ according to ethnicities, climatic conditions, and various social norms. Usually, patola sarees are most common among Gujaratis. They come in bright and vibrant colors with beautiful designs. Kurta and dhotis are worn by me during festivals and occasions. In case of any formal event, people dress accordingly with shirts and pants.
