The Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking tests are the four primary components of the International English Language Testing System, or IELTS exam. It takes roughly 30 minutes to complete the Listening test, 60 minutes to complete the Reading test, 60 minutes to complete the Writing test, and 11 to 14 minutes to complete the Speaking test.

What was the activity?

In my primary school, there was a very fun activity we used to engage in after our school assembly ended every day. One by one all the senior classes used to leave the auditorium and then our music teacher used to play a children's song on the piano and every one of us from primary classes used to dance to those tunes in our cute innocent ways. This activity was one of the reasons why I used to look forward to the school assembly every single day during my junior schooling years. 

How was it interesting/enjoyable?

Sometimes our music teacher used to ask us to choose a song, whereas sometimes she used to choose a song from a random book. On numerous occasions, our teachers joined us and shook a leg or two with us as well. It was one of the most enjoyable activities we did in my primary school. This activity was a ploy to attract us to the assembly and it worked wonders. The dance used to help us get our body warmed up for the day ahead. It was truly nice and refreshing to dance without a single worry in mind.

A nice ending : 

I miss those simple old days when there was no worry in our minds and we could dance in front of anyone on the cue of the teacher. The memories of our teachers dancing with us, holding our hands and teaching us new dance moves, and laughing out loud with our friends while dancing are still engraved in my heart. I wish I could go back to those sweet old days and watch my classmates and myself dance on those tunes. I am genuinely grateful to our teachers who crafted such a fun activity for us back then, which lives in our hearts rent-free.

What was the activity?

Although I don’t remember every single detail of my life when I was in primary school, there is one activity I and my classmates used to engage in which I still remember vividly. During our physical training classes, every alternate week, we used to have game periods. During these game periods, our whole class used to play different games like “hide and seek”, “catch me if you can”, “hankey thief” and many more. This activity was the most fun activity of my entire primary school time and I used to look forward to my PT classes for this one activity. 

How was it interesting/enjoyable?

The fact that an entire class of 50 students engaged in games was so fascinating and thrilling at the same time. We used to interact with each other, even if we were not friends, just to win the game. This game was a great attempt by our teachers to make the class productive and interactive at the same time. Our bonds as classmates tightened during this activity. Sometimes our teachers joined us as well which used to be even more fun for us. Seeing a teacher laugh and play with us was one of the most amusing things we could witness during our primary schooling. These play days enriched my childhood and created a series of unforgettable memories in my heart.

A nice ending : 

Whenever I think about my childhood, this activity of ours in primary school crops up in my mind and takes me down the lane of nostalgia. I can still hear the laughter of my friends and their mischievous grins when I reminisce about those play days. It was a very nice attempt from our teachers to help us bond and get some physical exercise at the same time in the most fun and interactive way possible. School life is not only about skimming through books or taking notes during classes, it is also about the deep relations and memories we make in our childhood that stay with us for a lifetime.

If allowed to go back in time, which part of your schooling days would you return to and why? 

Answer: Thank you for such a unique question. If I am ever given an opportunity to travel back in time, I would certainly go back to my kinder garden days and relive all the memories of my school life when I was five years old. Since I was very young at that time, I hardly have any memories of those times. I only remember some moments and activities in parts. Thus I would love to relive those memories again, make new friends, interact with all my classmates, and gather as many moments as I can to console my future self during the tough times. It is the innocence and simplicity of our minds during those days, which makes them truly special.
