Can I consider getting a scholarship if I decide to study at Northwest University?
Like most universities in the USA, NU offers you both internal and external scholarships. However, your ability to score a scholarship solely depends on your educational background and your financial needs. For Indian students, Northwest considers you eligible for a scholarship in both need-based and merit-based categories. NU does not want any student to miss out on the university experience due to financial restraints and, hence, lets them avail themselves of scholarships with the terms and conditions applied.
On an average, 120–160 deserving students win a scholarship every year. If you want to apply through the offline mode, you can simply contact the faculty and understand the scholarship application process. If you are applying online, simply register yourself in the student portal, fill out a brief scholarship application, and make sure to upload all the documents required. Verification of documents takes place once you inform the designated department of your scholarship application. This can be done through writing an email or by calling the campus.
What is the selection criteria for accommodations at Northwest University?
Once your admission is completed and confirmed, you can fill out a housing form to sign yourself up for living on the campus. Your admission letter and housing application are the only documents required for on-campus living. Please note that you have to pay a non refundable amount of 150 USD as a fee for the housing application.
The number of people that can reside in an apartment varies by gender. For females, there are 6 person apartments and 4-person apartments available. For males, you have access to 4-person apartments.
The accommodation deadline for Summer Housing is April 15, and May 7 for Spring Housing. Once you have been assigned an apartment in the campus, you will be informed by mail.
