The main campus of the European School of Management and Technology, Berlin was inaugurated in 2006 and has since hosted world leaders like Barack Obama, Olaf Scholz, and more. Situated in the heart of Berlin directly across from the city palace and just a ten-minute walk from Alexanderplatz, the campus is easily accessible and recognizable. MBA Program

Master Program

Offering students a choice from 3 uniquely assembled Masters courses ESMT Berlin is among the top 1% of business schools across the world to hold the “triple crown” of accreditations from AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS.

The cost of tuition for the masters program at ESMT is estimated at 30L 76K. The tuition fees cover all courses and seminars, teaching materials, orientation, and career support that a student would require in order to pursue the degree. The fees are paid in three installments over two academic years.

ESMT Berlin Acceptance & Criteria

The acceptance rate at ESMT Berlin is about 30%, meaning only 30 out of every 100 applicants are admitted. The admissions process is comprehensive, considering academic performance, course-specific essays, letters of reference, extracurricular activities, and more. To improve their chances of acceptance, applicants should carefully prepare their applications, emphasizing their skills and strengths. 

The relatively selective acceptance rate reflects the high demand for admission to ESMT Berlin, one of the top universities in Germany for international students. The requirements for each course differs slightly but broadly the prerequisites for international students is as follows:

• Some form of postgraduate professional experience.
• An undergraduate or Bachelor’s Degree of at least three years.
• Strong scores on the GMAT, GMAT Focus, GRE, EA, or ESMT Admissions Test
• English proficiency test scores.

General qualifications for Executive MBA applicants:

• Seven or more years of professional experience, including three years of managerial experience with an emphasis on leadership qualities and achievements.
• An undergraduate degree of minimum 3 years or equivalent professional qualification.
• Either strong GMAT/GMAT Focus/GRE, GMAC Executive Assessment scores or ESMT Admissions Test (BAT) scores.
• TOEFL scores for candidates with limited experience in business English.

General qualifications for Global Online MBA applicants:

• At least three years of postgraduate professional experience at the time of program start.
• A bachelor’s degree of at least 3 years duration (minimum 180 ECTS), or equivalent qualification.
• Strong score in the ESMT admission test, GMAT, GMAT Focus, GRE, or GMAC Executive Assessment.
  • A test waiver may be granted if the applicant holds a PhD, or studied a STEM subject at bachelor’s or master’s level

General qualifications for Part Time MBA applicants:

• At least three years of postgraduate professional experience at the time of program start.
• A bachelor’s degree of at least 3 years duration (minimum 180 ECTS), or equivalent qualification.
• Strong score in the ESMT admission test, GMAT, GMAT Focus, GRE, or GMAC Executive Assessment.
  • A test waiver may be granted if the applicant holds a PhD, or studied a STEM subject at bachelor’s or master’s level

Masters

The general qualifications for all 3 of the masters program i.e. MGM, MIE, MAAI are as follows:

• A previous degree (at least Bachelor's equivalent) with excellent grades. If the applicants are finishing their  undergraduate studies within the next year, their application will also be considered. 
• Recently graduated, with no more than 24 months of postgraduate work experience (excl. internships) 
• English language proficiency test scores (if applicable)* 
• Evidence of strong quantitative skills.**
• Completed application - including essays, one reference and €50 application fee.
